Die BEST Logistics GmbH entstand im Jahr 2000 in Szczecin (Stettin) auf Initiative von Andreas Häfner, der damals für die HAEGER & SCHMIDT GmbH in Polen zunehmend mehr logistische Dienstleistungen in der Binnen- schifffahrt und für Projektladungen zu realisieren hatte.
